RİZE SUMELA MONASTERY KARACA CAVE HAMSİKÖY TORUL GLASS TERRACE TOUR
Ezgi Turizm, the address of the highest quality and most economical Sumela Monastery Tour from Rize, is here with a completely different and perfect program this time. We added Hamsi village, Gümüşhane Karaca Caves and Torul Glass Terrace to the Tour Program and named our tour Sumela Monastery-Karaca Caves-Torul Glass Terrace Tour.
We welcome you, our valued guests, with our friendly staff and latest model vehicles in front of the central PTT in Rize Center at 09:00 in the morning. After getting into the vehicles, our staff gives the necessary information about the tour program and the Sumela Monastery, Hamsi Village, Karaca Caves, Torul Cam Terrace Tour begins.
As our journey, which starts from Rize, continues on the Black Sea coastal road in the west direction, with the riot of colors between the lush green fragrant forests on one side and the deep blue view of the Black Sea on the other, we enter the Trabzon Erzurum Silk Road.
We reach Maçka district with the Panoramic view of the Valley along Trabzon Değirmendere, accompanied by Black Sea melodies in our vehicle. Continuing on our way, we enter Altındere National Park, full of Pine Trees, Waterfalls, Streams and picnic areas. We get out of our car and go to the Sumela Monastery with the vehicles belonging to the national park waiting for us (vehicles are charged extra). Sumela Monastery, built on steep cliffs on the outskirts of Karadağ, is popularly called the Virgin Mary. Since it is built at an altitude of approximately 300 meters above the valley, it is very difficult to build even with today's technology. During our free time at the monastery, the meaning of the icons on the walls will be explained to the guests by the guides in the monastery. Sumela Monastery A.D. It was built by two priests named Barnabas and Sophranios, who came from Athens in 375-395.
After completing our time for Sumela Monastery, we get in our vehicle and move to Hamsi Village, one of the most beautiful villages of Trabzon, a natural wonder and the land of rice pudding. This paradise, located on the silk road connecting China and India to Europe, amazes those who see it with its natural beauty. After taking photos from a hill overlooking the village, we stop by the famous Osman Usta for Hamsi Village Rice Pudding and lunch. After lunch, we will continue on the Old Erzurum road and go to Karaca Caves, located within the borders of Gümüşhane Torul. You can be sure that the cave will impress you from the very first moment with its extraordinary stalagmites, stalactites, columns and dripstone pools. Believe me, the shapes that emerge in harmony with the intertwined light inside the cave will appear as a work worth seeing.
After spending 1 hour in Karaca Cave, we get off the main road and take a break for souvenir shopping at the pestil-kükü shops on the road, which are identified with Gümüşhane. From here, we go up to Torul Glass Terrace, which is located in the center of Torul district and is built on a hill with a panoramic view of the city.
After spending 30 minutes at Torul Glass Terrace, which excites you with its height and view, we end our tour and return to the direction we came from.
Goodbye, see you on our next Sumela Tour.
