POKUT HUSER DOUBLE TOUR (5 PLATEAU TOUR)
Dear guests, the Pokut Huser Plateau Tour (Double Tour) departing from Rize, which we have prepared for our guests who say they do not have much time and would like to visit all the plateaus in one day, is just for you.
We worked hard while preparing this program. Because we didn't want you to experience either a rushed tour or the feeling of being bored. We are here with the Pokut-Sal-Huser-Avusor Tour (5 Plateau Double Tour), developed for the first time by Ezgi Turizm. In order to go to these 5 magnificent plateaus, our friendly staff and our jumbo vehicles suitable for the terrain will welcome you in front of Rize Central PTT at 09:00 in the morning, then let the Double Tour begin.
After picking up our other guests joining our tour from Çayeli Pazar and Ardeşen on the Coastal Road, we enter Fırtına Valley. The first stop of our Tour Route is Zipline Activity, we take a break at the zero point of Fırtına Creek approximately 50 minutes after departure for Tea and Needs. As we continue on our way after the zipline break, this time we come across Çamlıhemşin, which is famous for its wooden and stone mansions of the Black Sea and contains the most beautiful plateaus. Passing through Çamlıhemşin, we first enter the Çat Valley. Throughout the valley, Çat Creek, decorated with Ottoman-made stone arch bridges, greets us. We sip our tea accompanied by the magnificent view at Çinçiva Coffeehouse in Şenyuva village, where the TV series Sevdaluk and the movie Yüreğine Sor were shot. After a 30-minute break, we start climbing for Pokut Plateau.
To reach Pokut Plateau, at an altitude of 2050, we arrive at the plateau after a journey of approximately 55 minutes on winding roads through the forest. We will enjoy the magnificent natural beauty by going to the point where the photos taken on social media were taken in Pokut Plateau, which is the Hemşin Culture plateau. You can have breakfast or lunch in front of the magnificent view at the facilities on the plateau. Our view will be the Çat valley, Amlakit Plateau, Hazindağ Plateau and Çat Plateau. Especially if a fog cloud comes from below, do not spoil our joy :) After allocating the necessary time for the Pokut Tour, we pass through the Pine Forests accompanied by our Ezgi Turizm guide and reach the Sal Plateau by walking on the path for 20-25 minutes. In Sal Plateau, one of the most beautiful examples of Hemşin Plateaus, located at an altitude of 2070 meters, after visiting the plateau houses and the surroundings, we dance and enjoy our horons accompanied by bagpipes. After the Sal Plateau Tour is over, we return to the valley.
From Çamlıhemşin Center, we go to Hala Creek and Ayder Plateau. We pass through Ayder Plateau, Horon Düzü, Kalegon and take a break in front of Gelin Tülü Waterfall. Gelintülü Waterfall is the longest waterfall in Turkey with a length of 1350 meters. After our break in Ayder Plateau, we move to Avusor Plateau, which is famous for its Glacial Lakes and where animal husbandry and active transhumance are still widely practiced. It is one of those plateaus that makes you feel like you have arrived in a completely different world as soon as you arrive at Avusor Plateau. A sense of peace fills you as you glide along the road, before even reaching the plateau. When you go to the plateau, you will relieve the tiredness of the whole year. Avusor Plateau, located in Rize Çamlıhemşin, is one of the plateaus that makes you feel like you have come to a different world as soon as you arrive. As you wind your way through the winding roads next to the stream, a sense of peace begins to fill you. When you go to the plateau and encounter the Kaçkars, this peace increases exponentially. Avusor Plateau, where the Laz culture lives, consists of 70-80 stone houses against the danger of avalanches. Although it is possible to go to the Avusor Glacier lakes by walking for 1.5 hours from the 2400 meter high plateau, we cannot go to the lakes due to time planning.
You will enjoy watching Altıparmak Mountains and Kemerli Kaçkar Mountains from Avusor Plateau. From the moment you leave Avusor, you start planning when you will come again.
After staying at Avusor Plateau for about an hour, our journey to Huser Plateau, famous for Sunset, Cloud Sea and Swing, begins. Huser Plateau, one of the highest plateaus in the Black Sea, is 2400 meters high. Especially the sunset over the Sea of Clouds in the evening fills you with excitement that you will never forget until you die. Huser Plateau will impress you so much that every part of it is like an oil painting. One of the most beautiful moments for the Huser Tour is while drinking your tea; You will observe the Palaçkur, Avusor, Çeymakçur and Kavrun Plateaus right under your feet, the Black Sea coastline behind you, and the Sal, Pokut and Hazindağ Plateau Ridges right in front of you. After sunset, the Pokut Huser Double Tour ends and we head back towards Rize.
